Family Violence

• Define family violence and domestic violence
• Recognize and list the various types and presentations of family violence and domestic violence
• Identify and list high risk situations for family violence and domestic violence
• Understand the concept of patient confidentiality and indications for mandatory reporting
• Develop and implement an appropriate safety plan including listing of the contents of an emergency exit package
• List resources available for victims of family violence and domestic violence
