About

Background

Welcome to The Hub – MD Formulary, the online resource study guide for students in Foundations and
Clerkship at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. This online tool was created in
response to the student need for relevant and distilled resources for clinical reference about drugs that are
used commonly. The topics align with current teaching in the MD Program and 2021 MCC objectives.
This resource is not an all-encompassing syllabus or a sole source for drug information, but a standardized
format for learning the pharmacology of medications, including mechanisms and safety, for common
drugs/ drug classes. The goal is to provide a foundational pharmacology video that can be referenced
when the drug class is addressed in MD program and support the different uses/ indications the students
will learn across Foundations and Clerkship.
